About this interactive

Two lessons, Virtual Reality Systems and Augmented Reality Systems, set the two side by side. Virtual reality is a computer-generated simulation: a 3D world you are immersed in and can move through and interact with, as if it were real. Headsets such as the Quest and the Apple Vision Pro run it. Gaming is the main use, with engineering, remote work and healthcare too. Motion sickness is one drawback. Augmented reality keeps the real world and adds to it: computer-generated imagery superimposed on what is really there. You see it through glasses or a see-through headset, or on a phone or headset camera that shows the real world with the extra imagery on top, like the lesson's dinosaur in a real room. Sort each card. Five right in a row finishes the round.
