DEMO: Presentation Software

Another application that I use a ton is presentation software. I mean, that's what I'm doing right here on this screen, or if you see my board I've got the same thing projected down here. I'm using PowerPoint there.

Two Programs

Once again I'm accessing the web version of these two programs. One of them is from Microsoft, it's Microsoft PowerPoint, and the other one is Google Slides, obviously through Google. I find that once again there's more features on the Microsoft PowerPoint, but there are some nice accessibility features when it comes to Google Slides. But my preference, I pretty much exclusively use Microsoft PowerPoint for my presentations. It's rare that I will use Google Slides.

I do really like PowerPoint, and as you can see it's just a graphical presentation software that I can do presentations on. So that's what I create for all of my slides for my videos. That's what you've been watching, these Microsoft PowerPoint slides.

Creating a Slideshow

Just a real quick visual of how this looks. If I'm going to do editing, I can create a new slide on here, or select the design on here. Then once I've selected the design I can say my slideshow, and this is going to be my presentation, and then my first slide. So I'm going to do a first slide, and then whatever details that I'm creating for this. So then I would type in all the details, and then I could present this, go to the presentation mode. As soon as I hit this, then it will pop up on the screen into a presentation mode, and then I can add a little style to some of these slides. So that would be a quick way of me just creating a simple slideshow.
